Volvo have widened the C30 range with the introduction of the C30 S, this version has a slightly smaller fuel-injected 2.4 litre five cylinder motor which produces 125kW. With a slightly lower specification than the range-topping C30 T5, it still has all the safety and security features of the T5, but sits on 16 inch alloy wheels.

The C30 S comes with a five-speed Geartronic automatic transmission and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, EBD and electronic brake assist.

Once inside the C30 S you have ample head and leg room for four adults thanks to the two separate seating positions in the rear being slightly centred to provide a feeling of space. Dual zone climate control air-conditioning is standard, together with a load area cover. Other features include split rear seats, electric windows, cruise control and trip computer.

The C30 has high levels of safety protection as with any Volvo, with six airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners and head restraints and Volvo's industry leading crash deformation body construction making this the perfect family car.
